What are the key dates?

8pm, Friday 25 September 2026

  • Sri Sathya Sai Rathotsavam (procession) and Mangala Aarti

From 6.30am, Saturday 26 September 2026

  • 6.30am: Paduka Puja
  • 8am onwards: Reading of Sri Sathya Sai Tapovanam
  • 6pm: Bhajans, Maha Mangala Aarti & Maha Prasadam

Prasadam will be served during the day.

What is the significance of reading the Tapovanam?

The Sri Sathya Sai Tapovanam is more than a book, it is a sacred chronicle of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s divine life, teachings, and leelas. Reading or listening to the Tapovanam is like sitting in His divine presence, absorbing His wisdom, and soaking in His infinite love and grace.

What language will the reading be in?

The reading of the Tapovanam will be in English.

How can I take part?

You may take part in the Paduka Puja and reading. Details on how to take part in the Paduka Puja and how to submit recordings to be a reader, can be found below.

Please use the registration form to tell us if you would like to take part in the Paduka Puja.

To take part in the Paduka Puja, you must bring your items at 7.15pm on Friday evening to prepare your space for Saturday morning.

We are inviting devotees to take part as readers for this year’s Sri Sathya Sai Tapovanam.

Readers will be selected by a panel based on:

  1. Clear reading and storytelling
  2. Fluency – a smooth and continuous flow
  3. Pace – a comfortable reading speed
  4. Pronunciation – clear pronunciation of English and Hindi words
